2005 Competition Results

The water wasn't perfect for the slalom this year, infact it actually got better rather than worse, meaning the people skiing first had rougher water! i wasn't complaining as the water on my pass was almost glass! Gareth had a bad fall on his 1st or 2nd pass meaning he was out of the race, which brought a glimmer of hope to both Tony's and my eyes! But alas Mark won, with a very respectable 4 @ 30mph. Saying that we can all do a lot better, just nerves on the day that get in the way!!!

A huge thanks to Pete Sephton for use of his boat and supreme driving skills and Jane for scoring! Also to mum for being a very organised beachmaster, and Stuart and Karen who provided well earned Hot Dogs for all (even tho Vinnie stole mine!!!) a good time was had by all I feel, and I cant wait until next year's comp!!!

Wakeboard - 20th August 2005

The Wakeboard comp was run behind Marc Maddison's boat (thanks for that Marc!) off the lovely new pontoon, now sporting a very nice decking top with a seat and everything! Some very cool jumps and tricks by all, especially Mark Thomas' attempted invert!!! Respect dude!
